When the longtime Wendy's closed unexpectedly the day after Christmas 2016, I said, this is a direct quote, "Hopefully, they'll get something decent to replace it, not something lame like a Pollo Tropical."
After sitting empty for about a year, what moves in?
A freaking Pollo Tropical.

worst customer service i have ever received. ive worked in a drive thru and could never imagine being so rude. staff is so unprofessional, they practically ignore you. they don't even bother responding when you say hello, goodbye or thank you. half my order was forgotten so i had to go back, and they didnt apologize or say anything again, they just gave me what they forgot. worst fast food service i've had in my entire life. don't go!

The Worst Pollo tropical I have ever visited in my life. I will never ever go back to this location. Food is good but staff is rude and unprofessional.. stay away

This place needs to be closed! Placed an order on line, was supposed to be ready in 10 minutes.
Waited 45 minutes for them to finally tell me they did not have their order in the system.
People who ordered at the cashier waited 30 minutes!
They are all completely incompetent and rude, no customer service. All of them should be fired and this location closed!

My mind is blown at how poor my service was at this location. Reasons listed below:
- took 5 minutes for someone to speak to me at drive through
- while waiting I called the restaurant, no one answered
- took 15 min to prepare food. I get it's not McDonald's but come on
- charged me for combo but did not give drink
- gave food and closed window. Forgot the French fries. Spent 5 min knocking on window for their attention as they blatantly ignored me
- drove away without them giving me my credit card or receipt
Never will I visit this location again if it was the last restaurant open in boca
